Lea Gathen joined the research group in November 2021. She investigated the governance of the mobility transition with a focus on policy for e-mobility.

Lea Gathen holds a master’s degree in educational sciences and a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, both from Leuphana University Lüneburg. During her master’s program, she spent an academic year at Middle East Technical University in Ankara.

Before joining the group, Lea worked for the University of Hamburg and on a research project at Leuphana, funded by the BMBF. During her time with the group, she was also a lecturer for the faculty of sustainability.
