
Xinran has been a PhD fellow in the PLUS-Change project and member of the research group Governance, Participation, and Sustainability at Leuphana University since November 2023. She holds a BA degree in Practacultural Sciences from Beijing Forestry University, a MSc degree in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Melbourne and a MSc degree in the International Master of Science in Rural Development (Erasmus Mundus program) coordinated by Ghent University.
As a PhD fellow, she explores how land-use changes have been shaped by governance interventions and the deeper mechanisms over time across Europe.
